James Bernays

James is an engineer from our UK subsidiary, Fichtner Consulting Engineers Limited, who specialises in new and renewable energy technologies. He has focused primarily on low carbon energy sources and has modelled and analysed future UK energy supply mixes. At Fichtner James has been involved in projects on solar energy, steam and heat systems and energy from waste plants. Additional project areas include anaerobic digestion facilities, heat networks and hydrogen systems. James is currently broadening his experience in the hydrogen sector, both in the UK and abroad. This has included assisting with the design and permitting of power-to-hydrogen plants.
