Founded in 1922 by Martin Fichtner, Fichtner has since developed from an initially regionally active engineering office to Germany’s leading independent planning and consulting company of international standing. The Fichtner Group with its subsidiaries and associated companies has a staff strength of more than 2000 worldwide. The Stuttgart based Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG accounts for over 950 of these – comprising mainly engineers, economists and management consultants covering a wide variety of specialist fields.

We provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary range of consulting services for public and private infrastructure service providers with a focus on supply and waste management. This combination of technical planning and consulting, as required in the realization of large projects, with classic management consulting services is unique.

The company is headed by a board of directors with overall responsibility for the company with its chairman. The board of directors of the company management is an advisory board chosen by the shareholders, consisting of well-known persons, who supervises the management and advises and supports in all important questions of business policy and corporate planning.
